Terry Krieg President of Advantage Marketing Solutions

Terry started Advantage Marketing Solutions with the vision to be a leading high value marketing and advertising company that supports businesses with their need to market. His knowledge, experience, and previous achievements are just some of Advantage Marketing Solutions assets. He is applying everything he has learned to Advantage Marketing Solutions, and continues to seek new opportunities for marketing and business solutions for all clients.

Prior to founding Advantage Marketing Solutions in 2005, Terry was Vice President of CUCorp, a subsidiary of the Michigan Credit Union League. He began his career at CUCorp in 1985, and over the course of his tenure with the company he transformed what was a very small department into Images & Ink, one of the nation's largest marketing service organizations that focused mainly on financial marketing. This award-winning entity within the company provided first class advertising, marketing, consulting, and business partnerships to many organizations across the country.

Katherine Van Eck Vice President Operations & Sales

Kathy is the Vice President of our Operations & Sales. She provides top quality customer service and support to our clients. She has a wide array of Credit Union knowledge and is our "go-to" person for any forms or compliance-related questions. Kathy coordinates marketing programs and is essential in overseeing the timely delivery, with no quality compromise, of your products. She is continually working to meet our clients' every needs, while some go as far as to say that she is the glue that keeps us together.

She graduated from Michigan State University with a BA in business administration and is a CUNA-certified Credit Union Compliance Expert (CUCE). She has more than 12 years experience working in customer service and as a Credit Union Compliance Coordinator. Her varied and extensive background includes managing the workflow process for a large printing and marketing company, customer service and support, and accounting.

Kathy enjoys spending time with her family and is involved in community programs and the Boy Scouts of America. She is also a traveler, having lived in Brazil for a year. She has a working knowledge of both Spanish and Portuguese.

David M. Rogovein Vice President

David is the Vice President of Advantage Marketing Solutions. He works in sales and support and is well-known for the high quality customer service he provides. His experience and knowledge give him the ability to understand the needs of businesses and to deliver outstanding results.

David has worked in the wireless communications industry for a number of years, in both retail and business-to-business capacities. He has earned multiple top-level awards from Verizon Wireless. David's personalized customer service skills have roots in his earlier career in the men's fashion industry in sales and purchasing.

Born and raised in Detroit, David graduated from Oakland Community College, majoring in business and hotel and restaurant Management. He is a member of the Regional Greater Chamber of Commerce and B'Nai B'Rith. He is active with numerous charities including Donate Life and the Red Cross.

David lives with his wife and two daughters in Bloomfield Hills. He enjoys cooking, bowling, and barbecuing for his family. David is a world traveler, having visited 15 countries so far. He is a fan of Detroit professional sports teams, especially the Tigers and the Pistons.

Richard McKenzie Project Director and Sales

As the Project Director at Advantage Marketing Solutions, Richard leads our special project marketing. He also develops marketing concepts and campaigns. He works closely with clients and is an integral part of the graphics and copy writing departments. Rich also handles internal sales and our community marketing efforts. Rich graduated from Central Michigan University with a bachelors degree in marketing.

Jimmy Luthmann Marketing Sales Consultant

Jimmy is a Marketing Sales Consultant. As part of the Sales Department, he works to bring new business and expedite the marketing process. He has 14 years experience as a marketing manager, responsible for marketing and advertising for a credit union with over 30,000 members.

Jimmy is a retired US Air Force Flight Engineer and First Sergeant. He graduated from the Community College of the Air Force and Alpena Community College, majoring in advertising, marketing, and computers. He lives in Oscoda and is very active as a community volunteer.

Diane Harrell Website and Print Design

Diane is a Website and Print Designer. She graduated from Northwood University and has a BA in Business Administration with a Marketing major. Diane has a strong corporate background with more than a decade in the automotive industry, before becoming a consultant to automotive advertising agencies in their design and creative departments.

Diane enjoys spending time with her sons, traveling, reading and is actively involved in land conservation and stewardship programs in Oakland and Genesee Counties.

Allan J. Gaydos Director of Account Services

Allan is our Director of Account Services. He is a talented sales and marketing professional with more than 17 years experience in the advertising/marketing field and has held positions ranging from Advertising Sales Representative for major national magazines to the Director of Marketing for a local business magazine. He was part of the launch team for the Walter P. Chrysler museum's quarterly magazine, FORWARD.

Allan has experience working with all sizes of advertising agencies, from small local shops to large multi-national agencies. He brings with him knowledge of media planning/buying, circulation and account services, as well as research and analysis.

Allan resides in Livonia, and is actively involved with the Livonia, Canton and Plymouth Chambers of Commerce; he serves as a Chamber Ambassador for both the Livonia and Canton Chambers.

Mark Hutchins Senior Marketing Consultant

Mark is a Senior Marketing Consultant. As part of the Sales Department, he works on building new business and expediting the marketing process. He is a talented sales and marketing professional with 30 years experience in sales, marketing and customer service. He has held positions in banking services, mortgage lending, wealth management and as an industrial sales representative.

Born in the Detroit area, Mark graduated from Wayne State University, majoring in sales, marketing and public relations. He is involved in the Livonia, Canton and Plymouth Chambers of Commerce and NorthRidge Church of Plymouth. He is active as a community volunteer including Colonial Plymouth Kiwanis Club and The Senior Alliance. Mark lives with his wife, Shirley in Canton.

Jerry Barterian Editorial Consultant

Jerry has provided proofreading, copyediting and copywriting services to advertising/marketing firms and large and small businesses in Michigan and nationwide for more than 16 years. He is well-versed in a myriad of marketing arenas, including automotive, non-profit, hospitality, financial, health care/pharma, retail, insurance and high-tech. Jerry earned his Bachelor of Arts degree – graduating Summa Cum Laude – in Philosophy and French from Oakland University.

Amy Provost Advertising Intern

Amy is an advertising intern at Advantage Marketing Solutions. She is a sophomore at Michigan State University, majoring in Advertising. Amy assists the company with many social marketing projects. She uses tools such as Facebook, Flikr, Youtube, Twitter, and Linkedin to do so. She is also responsible for a wide variety of telemarketing projects, including sponsorship sales for community festivals and advertising placement in city publications. Additionally, Amy is involved in copywriting and editing content on various client websites, coordinating large e-mail marketing campaigns, and creating effective Google AdWord campaigns.
