100 Days To Health 2010
Starting in January with Closing Ceremonies in April

Becoming a sponsor at this year's 100 Days To Health is an outstanding opportunity for you and your business to gain tremendous exposure, as well as become actively involved with your community. The 2010 program is bigger and better than ever, and as always, is geared towards teaching people and their families to how build healthier lifestyles.

• The program begins with a kick off breakfast & health fair in January, and ends with closing ceremonies in April
• All participants are given a registration packet; and the first 500 families are given a stay healthy first aid kit
• Events, classes, and seminars are held throughout the 100 days at The Summit in Canton
• 1,400+ participants, with 15 to 60 attending each event scheduled on the calendar

The Village Theater

The Village Theater at Cherry Hill is a 400 seat, premiere performance venue at the corner of Cherry Hill and Ridge Roads in Canton, Michigan. The 30,000 square foot performing arts and education center sets the stage for both participants and patrons of the arts.

Liberty Fest - 2010

Canton's largest community celebration with attendance of over 70,000 in two days. The Canton Liberty Fest will offer even more than ever before with events for all ages, as we celebrate the 19th year of this special hometown event. Festival highlights include a marketplace, strolling entertainment, arts and crafts, specialty foods, local restaurants and the popular Kids Zone.

Cherry Hill Arts Festival - 2010

This event focuses on plenty of fun for the family. Festival highlights include: A spectacular and popular Chalk Art Competition for local, professional and seasoned artists, an Art Mart/Expo, plus a wide array of arts activities for all ages. Participants can try their hand at pastels, ceramics, chalk art and more! The festival is anticipated to attract 3,000+ attendees.

Fall Festival & Carnival - 2010

Get involved in this four day event offering over 35 rides, local business exhibits, games, as well as, arts & crafts, music and entertainment for everyone to enjoy!

Halloween Trick or Treat Parade - 2010

An annual Halloween trick or treat parade, where children dressed in costumes trick or treat through the Summit on the Park stopping at various stations that are sponsored by area businesses.

Each decorated station is filled with prizes and goodies for the children. Nearly 4,000 Canton Residents will be parading through the Summit visiting each station.

Annual Township Tree Lighting - 2010

This high profile and well attended event draws 5,000 area resident's who enjoy various holiday festivities and activities both indoors and outside at Heritage Park.

At this event, families enjoy seasonal entertainment, visits with Santa and his reindeer, carriage rides with hot cocoa, holiday crafts and much more!

Pheasant Run Golf Club

Nestled in the very heart of Canton is a scenic and challenging golf course designed by world renowned architect Arthur Hills. The 27-hole layout covers more than 300 acres of rolling terrain. The championship course features Pencross bent grass fairways and tees along with smooth, fast, and true greens. The golf course is inviting to the beginner and challenging to the scratch golfer. The golf club is owned and operated by Canton Township.

The Pheasant Run Practice Facility features a Pencross bent grass teeing area which is 120 yards long and 75 yards wide. Five target greens and yardage plates targets allowing for precision practice. There is also a chipping, putting green and a practice bunker. Call 248-912-1285
